Frontier Management Consulting (Frontier) is a privately held Romanian firm with 20 years of experience in strategic consulting, business development, and innovation management. Since 2004, we have supported with clients across healthcare, ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), bioeconomy, and manufacturing – helping them secure funding, implement change, and generate measurable impact through digital-first solutions.

We have developed, won, and implemented over 100 successful national and EU-funded projects, including Horizon Europe, EU4Health, and national R&DI programmes. Our portfolio covers fields such as eHealth, sustainability, and AI-based diagnostic predictions, serving stakeholders from SMEs and startups to research institutes, hospitals, and public authorities.

Frontier is also a founding member of ROHEALTH – The Health and Bioeconomy Cluster (https://rohealth.ro/en), a leader in applied health innovation. As part of this ecosystem of over 125 R&D-oriented organizations, we contribute to advancing Romania’s health and bioeconomy landscape. ROHEALTH is one of only six European clusters awarded the Gold Label for Cluster Management Excellence by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA).

Through our active involvement in ROHEALTH, Frontier contributes to major European initiatives led by the cluster, including:

🔷 Soriana Popescu, EMBA – Chief International Strategy Officer (CISO)

Executive strategist and board member with 20+ years of experience across medical devices, BPO, finance, real estate, pharmaceuticals, mineral aggregates and public policy. An expert in AI transformation and cross-cultural leadership, Soriana has implemented digital solutions for large organizations and advised on M&A in healthcare and compliance strategies (GDPR, ESG). Her international certifications and board experience support innovation and value creation at scale.

 

🔷 Silvia Daniela Pohrib – Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Financial expert and social economy leader with over 20 years in budgeting, strategic planning, and regional development. Silvia has led award-winning innovation teams, built social economy clusters, and contributed to EU advocacy. Currently pursuing a PhD in resource management, she blends academic insight with proven impact in sustainable growth and public-private collaboration.

🔷 Flaviana Rotaru – Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & President of ROHEALTH Cluster

With over 23 years of experience in business development and EU-funded innovation, Flaviana leads Frontier’s vision and strategic partnerships. She is the founding President of ROHEALTH – The Health and Bioeconomy Cluster – and also coordinates MEDRO, the national network of Romanian medical clusters. With academic background in electronics engineering, law, and strategic management, she has built a unique community-based model for ROHEALTH focused on innovation, collaboration, and social impact.

 

🔷 Mădălina Argăseală – Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Mădălina brings more than a decade of experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and organizational operations. As Operational Director, she ensures efficiency across teams and projects, aligning implementation with strategic goals. Her management style balances structure and agility, with deep involvement in capacity building, innovation delivery, and investor relations.

 

 

🔷 Florentina Nae – Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO)

With over 15 years of experience in EU project development and implementation, Florentina Nae leads the Development Department at Frontier, coordinating consultancy teams and overseeing a diverse portfolio of national and international funding programs. She has extensive expertise in drafting funding applications (PNRR, POR, POC, PEO, etc.), managing procurement procedures, and ensuring financial compliance.

 

🔷 Ana Duca – Regulatory Officer

With over 10 years of experience in EU and national funding programs, Ana Duca coordinates project implementation at Frontier, ensuring compliance, reporting, and stakeholder communication. Her background in strategic management and certifications in project and procurement management support the successful delivery of innovation-driven initiatives.

 

 

🔷 Gabriela Toader – Research and Development Officer

Gabriela brings over 15 years of experience in structural funds and EU project consultancy. As Director of the R&D Department at Frontier, she leads the company’s research strategy and supports the design and management of complex proposals under programs like Horizon Europe, Interreg, and national funding schemes. She previously coordinated Frontier’s contributions to BIOVOICES and PRONTO and holds a degree in Management from ASE Bucharest, along with certifications in innovation, technology transfer, and public procurement.
